Rick, thank you for taking the time to share this, and I’m truly sorry to hear that your recent experiences haven’t lived up to what you’ve come to expect from High Peak Granola. That’s especially hard to read knowing how much you previously enjoyed it, and I completely understand your disappointment.

We’ve been sourcing our oats from the same farm for many years, but as with any natural ingredient, there are seasonal differences between harvests. Winter oats tend to be smaller and behave differently when baked than summer oats, which can affect texture and flavor. Since our granola is produced in small batches and made largely by hand (from mixing to baking), seasonal harvest variations in the oats can be more noticeable, leading to small but natural differences in texture (more or less clusters), flavor, and balance between individual bags.

That said, your feedback about flavor and balance - especially in the macadamia coconut - is important and taken seriously. Our goal has never been uniform or commercial, and if we’ve missed the mark for you, that’s on us.
